Gingerbreads Return To The Meres

After two away defeats on the road, The Gingerbreads are back at The Meres today.

Paul Rawden was frustrated that in both the matches at Consett and North Ferriby that his players were not doing the basics and meant that in both they went in at half time 3 goals down. At Consett, he saw his fight back with two unanswered goals, but it was too little too late. On Tuesday, one goal was scored in reply but it took little time for The Gingerbreads to concede again.

Visiting The Meres on Saturday is Winterton Rangers. After a slow start in their first season at this level, the North Lincolnshire side have picked up in the last few weeks and now sit a point behind The Gingerbreads in the table.

Supporters will recognise two of the Winterton squad with Paul Grimes, Scott Matthews and Lee Ridley making regular appearances for them.

Ahead of the match Paul Rawden has added Sisa Tuntulwana to his squad. After leaving the club last season he has spent time at Wisbech and Boston Town.

Today's match is sponsored by Tony Fraher and the match ball sponsor is Ollie Jackson, thank you for your continued support of The Gingerbreads.

Our Ball Retrievers today are Colsterworth Colts U9 Black's, we hope you have a great day.
