Gingerbreasd Host Lye

The Gingerbreads host Lye Town at The Meres this afternoon.

After the defeat at Coleshill Town on Saturday, Nathan Arnold arranged a friendly at Lincoln United on Tuesday night "It gave me chance to see everyone play and you learn a lot more about players in a match situation rather than on the training pitch

On Saturday there were spells when we looked good, we were on the front foot and we got the early goal. These are the parts which we now wants to increase over the course of a match.

The goals we're conceding are coming from individual mistakes rather than it being a good goal. It's those decisions which when you're at the bottom hurt most.

Saturday is a chance to narrow the gap to Lye"

Last Saturday Lye saw their match, like most in the league, postponed due to a frozen pitch. It means today will be their third straight away match. The previous two were a 6-0 defeat at Coleshill and a 5-1 defeat at Sporting Khalsa..

Arnold has added to his squad during the week, with defender Charlie Parks joining on a work experience loan from Lincoln City. Also, Freddie Allen has extended his loan at The Meres until the end of the season.

For supporters unable to make the match their will be updates across the clubs social media accounts.
