Louis Bland Comes Back To The Gingerbreads

There will be a new management structure at the Football Club from today.


Returning to The Gingerbreads will be Louis Bland who will take on the role of Head Coach of the Football Club.


Current Chairman Paul Rawden will also become the clubs Director of Football working with Louis to develop the whole clubs footballing side including the senior side.


Louis is a local man who spent many years with the football club running the successful development side and academy, he then went on to gain valuable experience at Sleaford Town and most recently Hucknall Town.


Louis role will cover all age groups as he will oversee the football at the whole club along with the First team with the emphases on developing the clubs football as a whole he will become the main contact for the youth section and work with the current coaches to implement the future plan we will be implementing across the whole football club from season 2024/25.


Louis will also as part of his new role become the head coach of the senior first team working with Paul Rawden who will over see the senior teams recruitment.


This new modern approach is the way that football is heading and it’s so important to have the right people at the club and to create a synergy throughout the whole club.


Paul states "I’m delighted to bring Louis back to the football club having seen him progress and working with him in a senior environment within non league I knew he was the right coach to bring in he has great ideas and principles and I feel can have a real great long term impact at the whole club it’s so important to have people at the club who care for it and this club is in Lou’s heart"


Louis said in his new role ‘After meeting with Rawds and him telling me the plans he had for the club going forward and the role he wants me to do and it fits perfectly for me. The club is my hometown club and I’ve worked at the club before so it was a no brainer. I was mascot at the age of 5 and it feels like I’ve returned home. The way we want to go is bringing through local players and get the good feeling back to the club which has being missing for a few years’
