Ponte Colls Away For The Gingerbreads

The Gingerbreads return to action after two weeks following last Saturday's postponed fixture at Sheffield FC, with a trip to Pontefract Collieries.

Head Coach, Louis Bland said "We wanted to get back out there as soon as we could after the Grimsby Borough match, but the forecast ahead of Sheffield we knew that it probably wouldn't happen.

Training has been really good, the spirit between the group is great. We're ready for Saturday and can't wait for it."

Like The Gingerbreads, Pontefract have been without a fixture for a fortnight too, with not just their Saturday match postponed but also the planned trip to Carlton on Tuesday. Last time out they drew 0-0 at Stockton. Sitting in the final play off position, since Christmas they have won 1, drawn 3 and lost 1.

Pontefract visited The Meres back in September, Tom Zerboni scored a late equaliser for #thegingerbreads in a 2-2 draw.

Louis is expected to have a full squad available for the trip.

If you're unable to make the match, then the usual updates will be posted across the Club's social media accounts.
