R.C Warwick Come To The Meres

The Gingerbreads will look to build on the win last Saturday against Coventry Sphinx, when they host R.C Warwick today at The Meres.

"It wasn't our best performance but it's the result that matters "said Louis Bland "We worked hard and kept battling all the way to the very end.

We've had a week to recover, we've had a really good training session on Thursday night. We picked up 3 injuries last Saturday, meaning Brad (Munns), Ethan (Bojang) and Harry (Olivant) all going to miss at least Saturday and possibly longer. That means we need to change things. Those that come in know what we're looking for."

After going goalless in their previous 3 matches, R.C Warwick drew 2-2 at Hinckley LRFC on Tuesday night. A 97th minute own goal gave them the share of the points.

"We've had them watched, we have seen the areas they exploit and we've looked at what we will be able to exploit too.

Saturday I was really pleased for Lewis (Darlington) on Saturday to get two goals. His performances have deserved goals and Saturday he got them.
