Students Come To Town

If the pitch survives the 10:30am pitch inspection. The Gingerbreads host Loughborough Students this afternoon at The Meres looking to build on the point earnt on New Year's Day at Shepshed Dynamo.


"I think we will all take some confidence in the result" said Nathan Arnold "The previous two matches were heavy defeats but we worked hard and battled to come away with a point. And that's after going down to 10 men with half an hour to go"


Loughborough started the new year with also a 1-1 draw at home to AFC Rushden & Diamonds. Aden Brazil getting an 81st minute equaliser.


"It's a quick turnaround, it was good to be with the boys on New Year's Day. I've seen as much as I could on video beforehand and we had some ideas we wanted to implement. We took plenty from the match and we want to build on it.


I'd like to thank everyone that greeted me and I'm looking forward to meeting more of the Supporters on Saturday. One thing I really loved at Shepshed was the support from everyone who was there. When you hear your supporters cheering you on it does make a difference, it drives you on.
